Bruce Piatt Wins Bianchi Cup with Vihtavuori Powder

Congratulations to Team Vihtavuori member Bruce Piatt for winning the 2023 CMP Bianchi Cup – International Pistol Tournament. Bruce scored an impressive, perfect score of 1920 – 178X to secure his seventh championship title.

The 2023 CMP Bianchi Cup was hosted by Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Hallsville, Missouri on May 23-26. The Bianchi Cup, known as the gold standard in action pistol shooting, has a 40+ years history and attracts the world’s foremost competitive shooters.

Bruce, who competes with the 38 Super cartridge powered by Vihtavuori N320 powder, also brought home the Law enforcement Championship title. With near perfect shooting conditions, Bruce was in a tight race with Australian Shooter Mark Blake who placed second, and fellow Team Vihtavuori member Doug Koening finishing third. Bruce will compete next in the European Bianchi Cup in Alsfeld Germany in August.
