Vihtavuori’s Doug Koenig Places Second at 2025 CMP Bianchi Cup

Team Vihtavuori’s own Doug Koenig delivered another legendary performance, clinching 2nd place at the 2025 CMP Bianchi Cup – International Pistol Tournament, held May 20–23 in Hallsville, Missouri! 🇺🇸

With a grand aggregate score of 1918-182X, Doug dominated all four events:

  • Practical – 480-43X
  • Barricade – 480-47X
  • Moving Target – 478-44X
  • Falling Plates – 483-48X (including a 3-point shoot-off victory!)

Shooting Vihtavuori N320, Doug’s precision and consistency were unmatched — helping him also claim the 4-Man Team Championship Title alongside Mark Itzstein, Joey De Leon, and teammate Bruce Piatt (score: 1918-175X).

This marks Doug’s 25th time placing in the top two since 1990 at the Bianchi Cup — an extraordinary record of 20 wins and 5 second-place finishes. 🔥
